In order to fulfill the commission Christ has given us in Matthew 28:18-19 to go and make disciples, we have understood our mission at the Penbrook Church of God is to be determined to share God’s love by developing more and better disciples who are devoted to follow Christ fully.
 

We have broken that down into the easily remembered slogan:
 

“Know Christ, Grow in Christ, and Go serve Christ” or, “Know, Grow, Go”.

• We believe that God is directing our focus to families and children by winning them to Christ; growing and supporting them spiritually; and deploying them into ministry to build the community.
• We believe that God’s vision for the future of the PCOG is a thriving presence in the community of Penbrook and to the Harrisburg region.
• We believe God is leading us to a comprehensive ministry to families.
• We believe that God will expand our space for these growing ministry needs to members and community. We believe that God will bring this space by providing satellite locations strategically placed in the community and region.
• We believe that God will be leading us to increased worship experiences including additional services, varied times and non-traditional days, and varied styles of worship experiences.
